Early Canadas
Lots of Canadas around, but seldom use the same pea field two days in a row. Drew was home, so we scouted and went out north of State Slough (tree house) on Saturday morning (9-3-05).
Very few geese came our way; let a pair early go as they were close enough and looked like they would finish, but flared away and caught the rather brisk south wind and were out of range quickly.
Finally bagged one from a group of about 7 that again flared short of finishing, and that was it.
Mosquitoes were really bad.
